Description:

流水下山非有意
宋 此菴守淨禪師(生卒年不詳)

流水下山非有意,片雲歸洞本無心;
人生若能如雲水,鐵樹開花遍界春。

Water Streams Down a Mountain Without Intention
Ci’an Shoujing (Years unknown, Song Dynasty)
English translation: Cindy Choi

Water streams down a mountain without intention,
A cloud floats into a cave without a conscious mind;
If life can be like cloud and water,
Iron trees will blossom and spring will pervade.

── from Xu Guzunsu Yuyao (Supplementary Recorded Sayings of the Ancient Worthies)
